We have been spotting the OPPO A16 in the news since may. And now finally, the smartphone goes official in Indonesia. It is coming with a lot of amazing features. It comes with an entry-level MediaTek chipset, a triple camera setup, and a huge battery of 5000 mAh.
OPPO A16 measures 163.8*75.6*8.4 mm in dimensions and weighs 190g. It will be available in three color variants: Pearl Blue, Space Silver and Crystal Black. On the front, it has a 6.52-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 720*1600 pixels (HD+), 269 PPI, and 60 Hz refresh rate. The screen has a 71% NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio (typical), 480 nits brightness (typical), 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and a dewdrop notch.
There is also a 5000mAh battery with a support for standard 10W charging. The rear panel flaunts a triple camera setup consisting of a 13 MP primary sensor, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 2MP macro snapper. Whereas, for selfies and video calls, the device uses an 8MP shooter.
The smartphone supports dual-sim, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, A_GPS, Bei Dou, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS), USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
OPPO A16 is priced at IDR 1,999,000 ($138) in Indonesia. There is no information about its availability in other markets as of now. But it is expected to be launched in some regions.
