Samsung CHG90 First Look
Samsung Electronics Ltd. a South Korean MNC is a well-established brand in India. Samsung almost covers a quarter of Indian market. Samsung India launched “ World’s biggest curved monitor CHG90” on 20th December 2017. It is specially designed for business professionals and gaming enthusiasts.
It was first unveiled in June this year and now available to Indian customers via Samsung’s online store at a price of Rs.1,50,000. And soon will be available to retail stores.
The Samsung CHG90 is a 49-inch ultra wide QLED monitor which offers 3480×1080 pixels resolution. CHG90 supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) for improved colour contrasts.
It supports an “eye saver mode” which enhances user’s eye comfort and reduces fatigue.
According to Mr Puneet Sethi, Vice-President of Consumer Electronics Enterprise Business and Samsung India announced that “CHG90 had become the first monitor to be certified as Display HDR compliant by Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA)”.
Samsung CHG90 includes various ports as 2 HDMI ports, DisplayPort, USB Hub, Mini DisplayPort, 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3.5mm audio jack. CHG90 has a curvature of 1800R and provides 1ms motion picture response time and also boasts a refresh rate of 144Hz.
